Hello, I am Jasmine
My passion is to share my love for movement & yoga and its powerful healing properties to you all.
Movement is for everyone, you don't have to be super flexible or a professional dancer to move!
Remember, you are moving as long as you have a beating heart and as long as you're still breathing!
Join me as we embark on a holistic and transformative path towards well-being, where movement becomes a powerful catalyst for self expression, healing and inner harmony. Let's embrace the incredible potential within each of us to thrive and find joy in our bodies and minds.
Love,
Jasmine or you can call me Min :)
Movement Background
Movement has always been a huge part in my life. It is a form of creative expression and therapy for me.
My background in movement comes from different dance forms such as ballet, latin ballroom when I was younger.
I am passionate about mental health and the connection between the mind and body which has led me to pursue a Masters degree in Dance/ Movement psychotherapy.
Yoga Journey
I was first introduced to yoga when I was 14 when my mother brought me to her local yoga studio. However, not until in my early 20s I've taken yoga more seriously and fell in love with the spiritual side of yoga.
I was later trained and certified as a Hatha/ Vinyasa yoga teacher. I've also taken a further specialist training in Kids and Families yoga, Trauma sensitive yoga, Pregnancy yoga and Yin yoga. I believe movement psychotherapy and yoga complements each other very well. My teaching style would incorporate my background in dance, movement psychotherapy and yoga.
As someone living with chronic condition, my movement/yoga practice have helped me to go through many difficult moments in life, to breathe through and find ease in the discomfort and to develop a deeper sense of connection to myself.
I am committed to being a lifelong learner and dedicated teacher. I am excited to continue developing and growing as a yoga teacher to better serve my students and community.
